Dress

Men Can't Control Themselves

I want to make a clear message to any biped calling himself a man, who has the egotism and hubris to state that if a woman dresses in an attractive manner a man can no longer control himself and therefore may respond in any manner and should not be held responsible.

This is quite simply paralogia. For those "men" reading this who don't understand complex vocabulary, allow me to explain that paralogia is a term denoting operating above the laws of logic. It makes no sense for you hydrocephalic simpletons.

As a man who is proud of both his intellectual prowess as well as an apparently-rare ability to control one's lurching after his gonads, let me explain that I would laughingly pound any man attempting to assault or harass my wife into quivering guava before I would a) let the man do as he pleases with no objection or b) accept such paralogia as incoherent attempt at reasoning.

Why do I react so viscerally? Because gentle readers and neanderthalic troglodytic "macho" dingus, I find "men" who harass women and then blame the woman for his own shortcomings deeply offensive and profoundly disturbing when taken seriously. Males who act irrationally and abusively without taking full responsibility for their behavior give men in general and as a species the very reputation for being mindless aggressors that we (who are rational and mature) do not wish to claim.

Check your behavior regularly, irrational and irresponsible "men" and try to be mature; your lack of self-control is what keeps the penal and justice systems in business into perpetuity.

So great that a man has stood up and said this here! Thanks David! I think it is so demeaning and offensive to men to suggest that they are little more than mindless organisms, with no ability to control their responses. However, many of the men who have written so far seem to think that drawing a primative and violent image of masculinity is preferable to challenging their own misguided beliefs and prejudices. Your comment is a breath of fresh air!
