Just looking...
Several posters have commented that it's okay for men to 'look' at women when they are addressed in a particular way. However, does this still not sexually objectify women? Surely all women can wear exactly want they want at all times without any man looking, passing comments or making any judgements of any kind at all. To do so is simply to be on a line that, at it's extreme, leads to rape.

The line you talk about is a very long one, I hope you are advocating not going to the extreme at the end of it rather than simply not being on it. Its almost impossible not to make snap judgements based on peoples appearence or generally on the appearence of anything - to not do so is close to simply chosing not to see them at all. Its what we do with those judgements, what judgements get made, that should be checked in my own opinion. I hear what you're saying about not objectifying women but at the same time you're taking too much away if people can't find each other attractive. Its what people do/say/act with these things that should be held back from reaching any extreme or even near to it on that line of yours.
