The way rape victims are treated
Its official, Rape is the only crime where the victim becomes the suspect, and for a crime which is just below murder there are a lot of victims who recieve a lot of stress and dissbelief from authorities and the majority of the suspecs get away scott free. Rape is like emotional murder, it kills everything you were before the event. It kills everything you used to be you feel emotionally dead inside and numb. I have felt personally victimised by the CID they blamed me for it and said hurtful things to me: "Why didn't you scream?" "You might just be attention seeking" "Describe what you think rape is" "You could've easily walked out of the house.. we went up and checked the scene & This could've been prevented" Did they ever think about locked doors and the fact that his big brother was in the house too?
I was 18 when this happened & I still am.
Has it actually came to a time where woman have to wear old & baggy clothes to prevent getting raped!? Well the truth is that this does not cause rape. Real men don't rape, real men understand the word 'NO' rapists are disgusting human beings and should all be sent to prison to rot!
